Questions people ask first

What actually happens in the 45 minutes assessment?

You complete an intake form beforehand so the call is not spent on data entry. On the call you walk each of the four pillars in turn — what you eat, how you move, how you sleep and handle stress, how you hydrate — and your coach asks follow-ups where the answers do not add up. The last ten minutes are spent agreeing on where to start. Within 48 hours you get the written plan.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. Coaching is coaching. The plan is built from behavior change — food, exercise, sleep, water — and nothing you receive depends on a purchase.

How often should I book check-ins?

Weekly for the first month if you are changing something hard, every two weeks after that. Some people drop to monthly once the habits hold. There is no package to commit to — book them when you want them.

Is this covered by insurance or HSA/FSA?

Wellness coaching is generally not reimbursable by insurance. Some HSA and FSA plans will cover it with a letter of medical necessity from your physician, but that is between you and your plan administrator. Ask before you assume.

Are your coaches doctors or dietitians?

No. They are wellness coaches. They do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and they do not order or interpret lab work. If something in your assessment belongs with a clinician, you will be told and helped to frame the question for them.

What if I take prescription medication?

Say so at intake. It changes what your coach will and will not suggest, particularly around supplements and stimulants. Anything that touches your medication goes back to your prescribing physician before it goes into a plan.

What is the cancellation policy?

Each coach sets their own, and it is stated on their booking page. The standard across the platform is: reschedule or cancel free up to 24 hours before, and inside 24 hours the progress check-in or assessment fee is non-refundable.

Do you work with people outside the U.S.?

Sessions are by video, so scheduling is the only real constraint. Reach out and a coach will find a workable time.

For coaches

Independent coaches practice here under one method and one set of standards. If you coach and want to know what that involves, we have written it down.
